H Valves Dual Outlets
VA300R
HOW TO BUILD:
- Purchase a Thermo or XS Scuba modular valve
- Purchase a Thermo H adapter
- A right hand modular valve needs to be paired with a right hand H adapter and a left with a left
- The PRO / DIN outlets can be matched or mixed
- The modular access plug needs to be removed
- Note that the modular access plug and H adapter has reverse threads in the right hand version
- The photo below is an example of a XS Scuba DIN outlet left hand modular valve (VX300L-30N) paired with a Thermo PRO outlet hand H adapter (VH200L-N)

Modular plugs can be
installed into the valve barrel when the H-adapter is removed, or when manifolds are disassembled for single tank usage. Modular valves contain a valve plug when shipped from XS Scuba. |
Right Hand
VPLUG-R
This nut has small "notches" perpendicular to wrench flats to identify the Right Hand (R) designation |
 |
|
Left Hand
VPLUG-L
This nut does not have the small "notches" to identify the Left Hand (L) designation |
The "jam nuts" on the Crossbar and on the H-adapters also have the notch(R) and no-notch(L) identification. This helps to make sure that Rights go with Rights and Lefts go with Lefts. Always make sure you thread your valves together correctly, otherwise damage to the threads may occur. |
